Why iPhone asks registration and credit card for downloading free softwares?
Hi,
I have purchased iPhone4 recently. I have tried to download google voice and Rynga Mobile software to make calls and send sms. Both are free software. But while downloading it asks me sign in with Apple ID. I don’t understand why user has to do that for downloading free sws also. I have proceed with registration since I don’t have existing apple Id. But in the process of registration it is asking my credit-card details. I wondered. My questions are below
- Why should I register for apple ID, if I am trying to download softwares which are not related to apple? From Other phones we can download no of softwares freely with out any registration. More over I am not downloading apple’s softwares
- Why apple requires my credit card details for creating apple Id. I am not interested in making purchases?
- If I give my credit card details to get apple ID is there any harm for me?
