We could all guess at the reason, or you could call the Customer Service number on the back of the card and ask. They should have a code on the transaction saying why it was rejected. This is quicker and more accurate than guessing . . .

Could be one of these, either way, you should probably call the CC company.

1. Have you reached your limit?
2. Has the card expired?
3. Has the CC company put a hold on the card for security reasons?
4. Do you owe the CC company payments and the card is on hold?

Perhaps you should check with your credit card company. The company could be denying new charges for any number of reasons, such as your credit limit is maxed out, or your limit has been lowered or you haven’t been making regular payments on the account or if you are/have been authorized to make charges to an account that is not in your name, say it’s in your parents name, then the account holder may have suspended your access, etc.

pay the bill, of course
also if this was visa gift card you woould have to registrer the card first
question do you have a bank accoount?
you could add bank account to the paypal account
then use the bank account to pay for ebay items
thats an option
